20 words about early attacks on monasteries in England by Vikings, Alfred the Great and other terms
This glossary is for a project about the early Viking raids and the life of Alfred the Great, one of the most important English figures. Vikings were attacking England for 350 years and eventually William the Conqueror, a Norman, whose descendance were Vikings managed to conquer England for three centuries.
